Abia State has postponed resumption for 2024\2025 academic year
The Abia State government has officially announced that the 2024/2025 academic year for schools in the state will commence on Wednesday, September 23.
This decision follows the postponement of the original resumption date of Monday, September 16, due to a national public holiday. In addition, the state’s teachers’ training program is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 20, 2024, aiming to cover the remaining 1,800 master trainers.
This training initiative is an essential part of the state government’s comprehensive plan to revitalize the education sector and is a key component of the preparations for the upcoming academic year. It’s worth noting that the training will be conducted in three locations within the state, including Aba, Umuahia, and Ohafia zones.
