Don charges ISI students to speak up against intimidation
Professor Helen Labeodan, Chairperson of the Anti-Cultism Campaign Committee of the University of Ibadan Centre for Social Orientation (CenSo), has urged students at The International School, Ibadan (ISI) to report any instances of harassment, intimidation, or bullying.
During an anti-cultism campaign visit to the school, Professor Labeodan emphasized the importance of speaking up against such behaviors, warning that perpetrators could face consequences later in life, noting, “everything that goes around comes around.”
She advised the students to remain vigilant as they prepare for higher education, encouraging them to adhere to societal norms and values and to conduct themselves in ways that earn respect and honor.
Other members of the campaign committee also spoke to the students, advising them to avoid cultism and other anti-social behaviors that could lead to trouble, health issues, or untimely death.
