The QAT Foundation, led by CEO Hajiya Halimat Tejuosho Adenike, awarded scholarships to 370 students, including 150 out-of-school primary children, 150 secondary students, and 70 university undergraduates. The ceremony, held at Luchia Hotel in Kaduna, was in celebration of the 64th birthday of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu. Hajiya Tejuosho emphasized that the scholarships, focused on people living with disabilities and out-of-school children, reflect the foundation’s commitment to education as a means to break the cycle of poverty and promote social equality.

Tejuosho praised Senator Tinubu as a woman of “exceptional virtue,” whose dedication to empowering women, children, and the vulnerable has had a lasting impact on Nigerian society. She highlighted Tinubu’s philanthropic legacy as a model of leadership, integrity, and service to humanity.

The scholarship beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to the QAT Foundation. Aminu Ibrahim, a primary school recipient, shared his excitement about continuing his education, while secondary student Josephine Kazah promised to work hard to maximize the opportunity. Temidare Shakira Lawal, a university undergraduate, also expressed appreciation for the scholarship, which helped ease her family’s financial burden.
