Gotocourse, a leading digital learning platform, has introduced GMIND AI 2.0, a state-of-the-art AI-powered solution aimed at enhancing digital literacy and education in Nigeria. The creators of this initiative emphasized that the innovative tool will assist educators, writers, and creatives in developing engaging and effective learning experiences. The launch event, themed “GMIND 2.0: Revolutionizing AI Accessibility,” also called on the government to invest in infrastructure to improve internet and computer access, particularly in remote areas across Nigeria.

At the grand unveiling of GMIND AI 2.0 at the Gotocourse Digital Literacy Centre in Ibadan, Oyo State, Gotocourse founder and CEO Dr. Success highlighted the platform’s goal to bridge the AI divide and empower everyone to utilize AI. Designed to be user-friendly, intuitive, and accessible, GMIND AI 2.0 acts as a virtual assistant that aids teachers in curriculum and content generation, enhancing productivity.

The platform features an improved user interface, expanded AI capabilities, enriched digital literacy resources, and a collection of notable AI tools, all with a focus on inclusivity and equal access. Dr. Success noted that feedback from users drove the development of GMIND AI 2.0, and the outreach team has already trained over 30,000 individuals on AI and responsible use, with plans to reach 100,000 by the end of 2024.

Mrs. Olajumoke Akere, founder and CEO of Cherithpoint Education and Youth Development Initiative, praised Gotocourse’s achievement, stating that GMIND AI 2.0 has the potential to transform how we create, innovate, and envision the future. Dr. Oluseye Ojo, co-founder of Gotocourse, emphasized the need for inclusive AI design, digital literacy programs, and responsible AI development to address challenges such as lack of digital literacy and insufficient education.

“GMIND AI 2.0 is built on these strategies, aiming to close the AI divide in Nigeria. The launch of GMIND AI 2.0 marks a significant milestone in making AI more accessible and inclusive, empowering educators, writers, and creatives to create engaging and effective learning experiences,” he added.
