Kano State student tops NELFUND application list

A recent data chart released by the fund on its X handle, @nelfnigeria, shows the number of student applicants from each state across Nigeria. According to the chart, Kano State has the highest number of applicants with 17,122, followed by Borno with 13,798, and Benue with 11,754. Katsina and Kaduna had 10,952 and 10,380 applicants, respectively.

Other notable numbers include Plateau (9,328), Oyo (8,990), Adamawa (8,977), Kogi (8,400), and Osun (8,093). The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had the least number of applicants, with only 676.

So far, the fund has disbursed over N3 billion to the students.
