Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has announced that recruitment examinations will begin on July 22 and run through July 26. Dr. Nureni Adeniran, chairman of OYOSUBEB, revealed this in a statement released in Ibadan. He stated that 50,097 applicants are scheduled to participate in the examinations.
Applicants have been informed of their specific examination dates and times via email and phone. Dr. Adeniran advised candidates to regularly check their emails and phones for updates.
The examinations will take place at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Computer-Based Testing Centre in Ajibode, Ibadan, chosen for its proven track record in such exercises. Applicants are required to print their CBT examination schedules and application printouts bearing their passports from the job portal. These printouts will be necessary for admission into the examination hall.
Dr. Adeniran emphasized that applicants must adhere strictly to their assigned times and dates and warned against loitering around the examination center. Successful candidates from the computer-based tests will be invited for an oral interview.
He reiterated the board’s commitment to a credible and transparent process and urged applicants to beware of scammers, assuring that OYOSUBEB will provide updates on each step of the exercise. The board aims to conclude the recruitment process promptly to integrate successful candidates into the ongoing reforms of the basic education system in Oyo State.
