The Governor stated that a Committee would be set up to facilitate the establishment of the College of Engineering at the institution.
Ortom added that Benue as the food basket of the nation should also be the educational hub in the country, while describing the Engineering College as key to technology development.
He extols virtue to the Committee for the timely completion of the report despite the challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic which has ravaged global economy.
In his bid for Educational development in Benue State, Governor Ortom had announced in January that his administration will commence the recruitment of 5,000 teachers, the Governor stressed that the recruitment will start as soon as fraudulent practices in the State’s Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), are tackled.
