MAPOLY produces hand sanitisers, says they are of international standard
MAPOLY has produced its own hand sanitisers to fight the scarcity of the product as the country battles Covid-19.
According to the institution, the hand sanitisers are not like many out there, as it is of very high international quality.
The polytechnic also assured that the production process of the medical material followed a meticulous process.
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has taken the lead in creatively producing hand sanitisers to combat the shortage of medical supply in this pandemic period.
Nigerian Tribune reports that the sanitisers were produced by the institution’s department of science and laboratory in partnership with Women in Technical Education (WITED) as a way to deal with scarcity.
In commenting on the production, the acting rector of the polytechnic, Adeoye Odedeji, said the product adhered to international standards. A collage of MAPOLY’s gate and a random hand sanitiser for illustration purpose.
The press release by the head, public relations, and protocol, ‘Yemi Ajibola’, said the hand sanitiser can work well and stand side by side with any other in the world.
