The West African Examination Council (WAEC), on Sunday night, confirmed that the results of the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), will be released today, Monday, November 2, 2020.
The exam body further hinted that the exam will be out by 10:30am, Monday morning.
“This is to inform candidates that sat for West African Senior School Certificate Examination WASSCE for school Candidates, 2020 that the results of that exam will be released by @waecnigeria tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020 by 10:30am,” the tweet read.
WAEC further explained that, the delay in release of the 2020 WASSCE results was due to incidents outside its spheres of control, and the recent curfew imposed in most states across Nigeria.
It would be recalled that EDU CARE NEWS had reported that WAEC had postponed the release results of the just concluded WASSCE to this week, while citing civil unrest and curfew imposed in some parts of the country.
