The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, has disclosed that the institution has begun to offer degree programmes in Sciences and Management courses.
Dr Dzukoji made this disclosure to a journalist while answering questions in his office.
He stated that the programme that was affiliated to the Federal University of Technology, Minna and Kwara State University of Ilorin, will produce Bsc and Btec graduates in different fields.
The Rector informed that this was aimed at promoting education in the area and bring sanity into the polytechnic system by producing qualified graduates in a different field.
Dzukoji, who is serving a second term after being reappointed, promise to leave a good legacy behind, by ensuring new developmental projects are implemented in the institution.
He also confirmed that the institution has done the accreditation/reaccreditation of both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programme, which expired in 2012/ 2013.
Dzukoji, a seasoned broadcaster, had in 2017 established a radio station, situated at the Mass Communication complex, equipped with modern equipment for the training of students to attaining professionalism, which the Rector said remains a priority of his administration.
