GOV. Makinde Signs Bill To Enact Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, his Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde has graciously assented to the law that amended The Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa Law, 2013 on 3rd June, 2020.

The amended Law is titled ADESEUN OGUNDOYIN POLYTHECNIC ERUWA LAW,2020 and its certified copy  was sent to the Ag. Registrar of the institution on 13th July,2020 by the office of the Honourable Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Adebo Ogundoyin following the request for the assented copy of the Law by the Institution Acting Management. It will be recalled that the principal Law “The Ibarapa Polytechnic Eruwa Law 2013” went through the readings of the Oyo State House of Assembly and unanimously passed into Law by the Honourable members of the House recently, and thereafter forwarded to his Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde for his Executive assent.

Consequently, the institution shall henceforth be addressed by the new name by her entire publics.

Hon. Seyi Adisa an APC Law maker had before the bill was passed into law described Late Adeseun Ogundoyin as a Renowned NPN leader whose display of heroism during his lifetime cannot be overlooked.

The bill which proposed that the State owned Polytechnic should be renamed after Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin the Late philanthropist and father of present 33 year old Speaker RT.Hon.Adebo Ogundoyin received huge support from the Lawmakers during a plenary session in May.
