The West African Examination council, (WAEC) has extended registration for private candidates initially fixed for October 23, 2020, but now shifted to October 30, 2020.
This disclosure was made by the exam body in it twitter handle over the weekend.
It read: “ICYMI: WASSCE FOR PRIVATE CANDIDATES, 2020-SECOND SERIES: FURTHER EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD.
“This is to inform intending candidates that there has been a further extension of the registration period from the initial closing date of October 23, 2020, to October 30, 2020.”
Recall that WAEC had announced on the September 15, 2020, that the result of the just concluded West African Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE) will be released within 45 days, after the exams ended.
