AAAN PRESIDENT, BABAEKO EULOGISES CITY TOP SCHOOLS ON 5th ANNIVERSARY

The President of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Steve Babaeko, has extolled the virtues of CityTop schools for their efforts in imparting knowledge and advancing the course of education in Nigeria.

Babaeko, while speaking on the occasion of CityTop’s  5th anniversary, express gratitude to the  management and staff for the wonderful work done over the first 5 years of their existence.

He said “The first 5 years is important in the life of any organisation, it is in the first 5 years you will know if an organisation will survive or die, but we are all gathered here again, and that we are celebrating 5 years shows that CtyTop is amongst those companies founded 5 years ago and has survive.  The school has shown that it was founded to build a better generation.

The AAAN president, who is also the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of  X3M Ideas, further added that schools should follow the foot step of CityTop, not only in breeding future leaders for the country, but also preparing and equipping them with the necessary facilities.

“it is easy to say that children are the leaders of tomorrow, but if you fail to prepare them today, is like sending a soldier to a war without arms and without ammunition, but what CityTop has done today is giving them the necessary equipment and ammunition for them to go out tomorrow and become the true leader of our great country.”

Babaeko, an ardent supporter and contributor to Nigeria educational development, also commended CityTop schools for their Corporate Social Responsibility over the years, and for feeding fifty families in their host community, which was part of the highlight of their 5th anniversary celebration.

“I think it is really commendable, for every organisation that operates within a society, it should not just have responsibility within their internal stake holder, but also to their external stakeholder because if they are not scanning the environment and identifying areas where they can put up an intervention programme, then they are truly not adding value, but you can see the various intervention programmes CITY TOP is carrying out in that direction.”

Babaeko is optimistic that CityTop schools have greater and better years ahead.

“I am looking forward to the 10th year anniversary because the God that brought CITY TOP this far, is able and more than capable to take the school to 10 years and even more than 100 years, that is my prayer and that is the portion of CityTop schools.”

CityTop school located at the city centre of Egbeda in Lagos, is fast carving a niche in Nigeria’s education system, the school founded by Mr Daniel Taiwo has made giant stride in ICT, which is a strong foundation they have adopted in imparting knowledge in their students.
