NECO 2020 SSCE Results Released.

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2019/2020 internal Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE).

This was made known by the Registrar; Professor Godswill at the NECO’s headquarter in Minna, Niger State.

NECO however, delisted 12 schools for their involvement in mass cheating and cases of exam malpractice.

Obioma said the schools delisted include four schools in Adamawa, two in Kaduna, two in Kastina, Two in Niger, one in Taraba, and one in FCT.

He added that 24 supervisors were blacklisted for various offenses ranging from poor supervision, aiding and abetting, connivance with non-candidates to write answers on chalkboards

Statistics indicated that the 2019/2020 NECO result, has a two percent increase in candidates who made five credits and above in all subjects.

It would be recalled that  33,576 candidates, representing 48.68 percent, got five Credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics in the 2018/2019 NECO, however,  50,057 candidates, representing 72.57% got five Credits and above, irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.

When the statistical analysis of the 2018 and 2019 NECO results are juxtaposed, it shows that candidates who scored five Credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics revealed 62.48% ( 2018) and 48.68%( 2019) respectively.
